Petit Planet Luca Arbor: the 40-level planet tree
The Luca Arbor is the tree at the center of your planet and the main progression spine. Growing it unlocks land, farming, weather, neighbor capacity and cosmetic changes for the whole world.
What the Luca Arbor does
The Luca Arbor is not just a decoration. Each level can unlock a new region, farm plots, a Luca Fruit slot, weather, a neighbor capacity increase or an ecology change. If a system feels locked, the tree is usually the answer.
In the Final Beta it cost 960 Luca to fully upgrade the tree, plus Lucasprout at specific levels. Costs are paid in Luca, while Lucasprout is a separate material required at milestone levels.

Neighbor capacity
Neighbor Capacity increases at specific Luca Arbor levels, including 17, 24 and 28. That means inviting every neighbor is not just a matter of finding them; you also need the tree high enough to house them.
Plan invite order around capacity. If you have one free slot, prioritize a neighbor whose bond talent solves a daily annoyance — Yunguo for watering, Tika for wildgrass, Rebella for mining — rather than a cosmetic favorite.
Luca and Lucasprout
Luca is the tree's currency. It comes from planet activities, neighbor moments and exploration. Lucasprout is the rarer milestone material used at levels such as 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 13, 14 and 15.
Do not spend every Luca on a cosmetic fruit slot if you are close to a capacity or farming level. The tree's functional unlocks are almost always better than a new meadow pattern in the first week.
