How it works
Petit Planet systems: the loops that keep a planet spinning
Petit Planet is a stack of gentle loops: grow the tree, meet the neighbors, cook the harvest, sail the Starsea and bring something home. These guides explain each loop without the guesswork.
Bond
Bond is the friendship track for invite neighbors. It unlocks talents, dialogue, Homi Decor requests and the small daily rituals that make a planet feel lived in.
Read the guideStarsea Voyage
Starsea Voyage is the exploration system that takes you off your planet. It is where new neighbors, rare creatures, seasonal fish and a lot of the game's best surprises live.
Read the guideLuca Arbor
The Luca Arbor is the tree at the center of your planet and the main progression spine. Growing it unlocks land, farming, weather, neighbor capacity and cosmetic changes for the whole world.
Read the guideCrafting
Crafting turns gathered wood, stone, plants and inspiration into furniture. It is the main way to fill a house without waiting for shop rotations.
Read the guideDress Up
Dress Up covers clothing and character appearance. It is cosmetic-first, but it is also one of the main collection systems and a reliable Dough sink.
Read the guideHousing
Housing is split between your own home, the neighbor houses you unlock through blueprints and the Homi Decor requests that let you decorate for other people.
Read the guideOmni-Gallery
The Omni-Gallery is the museum side of Petit Planet: a place to display the creatures you catch, fill the Omnidex and earn rewards for being a completionist.
Read the guideFootprints
Footprints are Petit Planet's achievement and daily-task system. They are the main source of Loomi, the currency used at Loomix Mart, and they quietly guide you through every life skill.
Read the guideCurrencies
Petit Planet uses a small handful of currencies, but each one has a different job. Spending Dough on furniture when you need a house upgrade — or Loomi on a hat when you need anchors — is the fastest way to feel stuck.

Start with the tree
The Luca Arbor gates farming, weather, mountains and neighbor capacity. If a system feels locked, check the tree first.

Then leave the planet
Starsea Voyages are how you find new neighbors, rare creatures and seasonal materials. Anchors are the limiting resource.

Keep a rare catch
The Omni-Gallery turns a good catch into a permanent display, an Omnipedia entry and collection progress.

Frequently asked questions
What are the main systems in Petit Planet?
The main systems are Bond, Starsea Voyage, Luca Arbor, crafting, Dress Up, housing, Omni-Gallery, Footprints and currencies. Cooking and farming are life skills that connect to several of them.
What should you upgrade first?
Prioritize the Luca Arbor for farming, weather and neighbor capacity, then Footprints for Loomi and Star Anchors. Cosmetic upgrades can wait until the daily loop feels comfortable.
Is there combat in Petit Planet?
There is no traditional combat. Some activities are playful skill checks, such as beetle battling with Isaki, fishing, bug-catching and the dance stage in the Galactic Bazaar.
Do systems carry over between planets?
Your account progression, collections and currencies are shared. Planets and galaxies are different regions of the same overall journey.
